AYALA LAND’S BIKE SMART PROGRAM SEEKS TO PROMOTE POSITIVE BIKING COMMUNITY CULTURE

Whether for commuting, leisure, or exercise, biking has become a go-to for a lot of Filipinos throughout this pandemic. In response to this, Ayala Land has launched a Bike Smart Program in Nuvali, Laguna, that institutes guidelines and governs the biking community to make Nuvali a bikeable city and promote a positive biking community culture.

Through the 42.1-kilometer bike lanes along Nuvali’s main and connecting roads, Ayala Land put up signages and right-of-way markers called ‘sharrows’ on shared roadway lanes. There is also a designated bike path with a separate area allotted for off-road biking that is pedestrian and jogger-friendly.

Various amenities are also available for public use, including bike racks around the estate, as well as bike-repair stations at Solenad 1 and in Camp N.

Ayala Land also has a Post-Crash Emergency Response Service as additional assistance to bikers.

The Bike Smart Program debuted in Nuvali but will soon be rolled out in all of the Ayala Land Estates, including Vermosa in Cavite and Arca South in Taguig.
