Stars Going Green

 

When NUVALI thinks of the Christmas season, they think of lush green surroundings filled with music for everyone to enjoy. With this in mind, NUVALI gives back to the community as a way of thanking everyone for walking the eco-friendly path and becoming advocates of sustainable development through a series of activities throughout the month of December.

Entitled Gifts of Green, this Christmas series is a special one-of-a-kind treat to all those who have lived and embraced a more sustainable way of living. Christmas at NUVALI is about not just giving gifts to each other, but also about giving back to our planet and to the community. This is what Gifts of Green is all about.

Christmas tunes filled-up the cool breeze in NUVALI with performances from different Choir groups. While NUVALI held its first-ever lakeside concert and sky lantern release that served as the culminating event for the year.  The concert featured some of the country’s top performers including Billy Crawford, Kyla, Nikki Gil, Kris Lawrence, Isabella, Shiela Valderrama, Vincent Bueno, and Ms. Kuh Ledesma. 

“The place is beautiful,” says Nikki Gil, one of the recording artists who sang during the concert. “I didn't realize that we have something like this here in the Philippines. It's really nice. Perfect ang weather.”

Billy Crawford, also one of the singers at the concert, knows the value of sustainable living, and commends NUVALI for doing a job well done. “It reminds me of abroad, and it reminds me na kayang-kaya pala natin gawin ito – healthy living, eco-friendly, napakaganda ng environment. Within the years to come, I think this place will be developed into a wonderful project. Hindi kami bayad para mag-promote, pero we really appreciate this.”
